Its Summertime at Sunrise Landing Many new accomplishments are being noted. Our volunteers are doing a fantastic job of beautifying and making our lives comfortable and attractive. Many of the owners are sprucing up their areas. The flowers and bushes are bursting forth in full array. The oleanders have a sumptuous smell. The south pool gatherings sponsored by Helen Gedutis and her helpers were a marvelous venue for owners and renters to fraternize with each other. A group of Euchre players emerged with Brenda Landgrover teaching the basics. They met on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. at the south pool. Removed · Palm Tree trimming .. .. Completed · New Sod Completed In late May we noted a problem with soil erosion behind our seawall in several places. Our seawall contractor was notified and they rectified the problem in a timely and efficient manner. Our landscapers have been instructed to clip all bushes below the window sills. If you have a problem with landscaping, please contact Reconcilable Differences and not the lawn personnel. Some Housekeeping Reminders Now that the walkers are getting out, they are discovering what a beautiful place we have and are reporting conditions that need to be addressed. Ongoing is the fact that some residents have been spotted not cleaning up after their dogs and also unleashed dogs are still a problem. If you see an offender, please advise them of the rules. This is your home. Please do not pour water in our saunas at the pools. Despite warning signs we are still spending your dollars to have it constantly repaired. These are dry saunas only, water will rust the motor out and then you will pay for it out of our operating expenses. Your cooperation is requested in keeping the areas around our dumpsters looking good. Large items placed at the trash receptacles must be called in since they will not be picked up by regular stops. Please call Reconcilable Differences at 799-0660 and they will arrange for pick-up. We have designated car washing areas at Sunrise Landing, one near Building 7310 and one at the north end. Please use these areas for washing and rinsing your cars. A reminder; only one vehicle per unit may park in residential spaces. All others belong in visitor spaces. These spaces are marked as resident and visitor. Administrative Procedures To remind you: if you are selling your Condo, please get an Intent to Sell form from the office or online, from our webpage at Reconcilable Differences. The procedure for renting is the same, you need to get an application Intent to Rent from the office or from our webpage at Reconcilable Differences. Click on this link: http://www.reconcilabledifferences.net/SL-Renter_Application.htm However, effective August 15, 2007, Sunrise Landing now requires a security deposit of one months rent instead of the $100 that was required in the past. We have forms in the office to accommodate you in this area. We also have a list of all units that are either for sale or for rent so that we can give the information to anyone who stops in here or calls the office. We still get quite a few calls, especially persons who want to rent here. Those who do not respect these rules will eventually be penalized for the deviation. Remember you are responsible for your renters actions and the resulting consequences. There are some owners who have not updated the office with their new telephone and cell numbers. Please inform the office if you move or change your telephone number. Responsive Support by Reconcilable DifferencesOur management company, Reconcilable Differences, has been doing a fine job in responding to customer requests. They are processing 200 plus phone calls monthly from residents concerning information and, rules and resolution of problems. Their telephone number is 321-799-0660. Sunrise Landing has 236 units in 24 buildings and is almost ½ mile long and 50 feet wide. It covers over one million sq. ft. A round trip walk, including the 2 cul-de-sacs at each end, is one mile. We have 455 parking spaces and 373 exterior lights. The irrigation system is very extensive. The water pressure affects the number of sprinkler heads that can operate at any one time. Sunrise has 54 zones controlled by six separate controls. Even though we have three main supply lines, it still takes up to 10 hours to water the entire complex.
